The Kesh Ritual, for Hair

Oil, wash, care. The Sunday head bath, the way our grandmothers did it.

The champi before the bath is one of the oldest Indian rituals. This set brings back all three steps: a bhringraj oil to massage in, a shampoo to wash it out, and a gentle cleanser for the days in between.

INSIDE THE RITUAL

Bhringraj Kesh Tailam, 210 ml
Herbal hair oil with bhringraj, amla, hibiscus and brahmi.

Japa Ushira, 200 ml
Hibiscus and vetiver shampoo, for oil-wash days.

Kesh Shuddhi, 200 ml
Herbal hair cleanser with conditioner, for regular washes.

YOUR RITUAL

Before the bath: massage Bhringraj Kesh Tailam into your scalp. Leave it on for an hour.

Wash: use Japa Ushira to wash the oil out.

In between: use Kesh Shuddhi for your regular washes.

GOOD TO KNOW

For external use. Do a patch test before first use. The oil contains henna and indigo, which may tint light-coloured hair. Keep away from the eyes.
